A leaked political survey result was sent to us via one of our channels confirming that Number 1 councilor Emmarie Lolypop Ouano-Dizon leads the polls for the Mayoralty race in Mandaue City, the industrial capital city of the province of Cebu.
In the said survey where 1,200 Mandauehanons were asked from the 27 barangays from May 16- 21 this year, the results show that Councilor Lolypop Ouano-Dizon is a top favorite with 58% of the votes with her closest rival Congressman Luigi Quisumbing at 36%, and the remaining 6% is undecided.
If the said report proves true on election period, Mandaue City will have its first Woman Mayor in its history.

Jonas Cortes and Thadeo Ouano for Congressman?
In the same report, it was identified that current Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes is the strongest contender for the 6th district congressional seat with 47% with Cebu Board Member Thadeo Ouano closely following with 43%.
In the same survey it was also clear that Mandauehanons prefer Duterte to be the next president of the republic, with Alan Peter Cayetano as Vice President.
Sitting Governor Hilario Davide is still top of the survey of the poll for the Governorship post.
